no... it has gone completely downhill since 4 and 2 was the best. I would say that is the opposite.
But anyway yeah. Homefront was supposed to be something special but it turned out to be a bad attempt to copy CoD.
For me the Mass Effect is unrivalled int he story telling department.
Well if we are sticking to FPS games then the best story in my opinion would have to goto Operation Flashpoint : Resistance. One of the few times I cared about the lead character in a game.
