Timeless. Essential. These are the video games Gamesradar.com cherishes, and would still recommend, above all others
"Get ready to create beautiful little dioramas in Islands & Trains! Developed by Akos Makovics and published by Future Friends Games, this charming sandbox game invites you to craft your own unique islands and train networks." Charlie @ Thumb Culture.
Tom writes: "A tight, confident, deeply replayable, and rewarding co-op rush - our review of FromSoftware's Elden Ring Nightreign."
Elden Ring Nightreign twists the formula of the original game without significantly altering it to offer a surprisingly engaging experience.
Nice list! There was a surprising number of gems on there. Good times...it's never boring reading someone's Top 100. I always love these lists.
A really, really, really good list, very sincere, filled with surprises and completely fair. The best I've ever read. I don't agree with no2 but meh i think they are right =D
This is why I love Gamesradar.
...but I don’t personally agree with #1. Amazing game, but it was excruciatingly short. It’s brevity left me dissatisfied, and that’s not “bet game ever” material, at least for me... though, I do understand their reasoning behind it. Still, I’m glad the top of the list wasn’t stuffed with classics... I get it: The Legend of Zelda is a great game... but many of its successors are better (Like Wind Waker, which GR put at #5)
I disagree with most of these. Killer7? MINECRAFT? Seriously weird. I tried Minecraft once and I absolutely hated it. I get that a lot of people like it but with so many amazing games out there it's really really weird that that game made this list, even if just barely.
On a side note, I think more people need to realize that a classic game isn't automatically an amazing game. Donkey Kong, for example, is great fun, but it's not one of the best games out there. It launched a ton of amazing games, like Donkey Kong Country Returns, but I don't see that on the list, even though it is in many ways better than the original.
Whatever, that's my opinion.
