Reich project still alive; Florida studio closure confirmed; UK team down but not out.
Ignition Entertainment has spoken candidly on a traumatic year in 2010 when it had to close studios, cut staff and axe projects.
Shane Bettenhausen, the firm’s business development director, clarified that Ignition’s Florida outfit has shut doors, that its Reich project lives on in a new guise, and that the UK studio has been spared of total closure.
epicJRPG.com looks at the first official English trailer for Dragon's Crown, released today by publisher Atlus, which shows off the action RPGs beautiful hand-drawn artwork and engaging combat. The title is coming this summer to Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita.
Goodjob by Atlus with the fast localization, nothing i hate more then when a japanese game takes ages to localize.
Should be a quick and fast localization process. All they gotta do is translate the text and add in English voices :) I assume of course, dont really know the whole process they do with these games.
Releases in Japan during July whilst it gets released world wide in English during August :D
Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the Basiscape guys since they do the soundtracks to all of the Vanillaware games. I love their Muramasa soundtrack.

This is probably the biggest game to hit the eShop so far. When retail games start appearing on the eShop as digital downloads, they might even be bigger...
Siliconera: Ignition has been pretty quiet about Dragon’s Crown after revealing the game at E3. The four player brawler from Vanillaware has is a throwback to Capcom’s Dungeons and Dragons arcade games. With PlayStation Vita launching in just a few days and Dragon’s Crown slated for release in spring 2012, we reached out for more information about Dragon’s Crown. We ended up getting a conversation with George Kamitani, the game’s director.
