Ready Up: Alien Breed Trilogy review

I didn’t know what to expect with Alien Breed Trilogy. I remember downloading the original on my extremely underspecced laptop and manage to push out a massive 6 frames per second so instantly gave up feeling slightly disgruntled.

I don’t want to spend a huge amount of time talking about each game because the site has reviewed Alien Breed Evolution, Alien Breed 2 Assault and Alien Breed 3 Descent already so I want to give you my perspective on the overall trilogy and what it has to offer.

ZTGD | Alien Breed Trilogy Review

Dave Payerle writes: It always irritates me when a band covers a song and it sounds just like the original. If you’re going to re-make something, at least put your own signature on it to differentiate your version. With Alien Breed on PSN you get the best of both worlds: the original Amiga classic as well as a redone, modernized version of the game. While there isn’t much appeal for those who didn’t experience the 1991 version, those who did will find both nostalgia and something new to enjoy in this package.
