GamingUnion.net: The PlayStation 3 hasn't always been the home of a wide variety of exclusive titles, largely lagging behind the competition throughout the first year or so of its launch. However, that reality has shifted substantially over the past few years, to the point where Sony's first-party lineup for 2011 appears well ahead of the two other console manufacturers. Before looking into the future, it's worth taking a look back on the recent past, to a fantastic, diverse catalogue of exclusive titles. What follows is our list of the top ten PlayStation 3 exclusives titles - limited to full retail offerings, one entry per franchise, and listed in alphabetical order.
The PlayStation 3 is Sony’s most interesting home console ever, but what’s most interesting of all is trying to nail down the very best games on a console with hundreds of incredible games. Let’s give it a shot.
Sly Thieves in Time
Stay the Party
Portal 2
Dj Hero
Demon’s Souls
God of war Ascension
I've noticed a recent nostalgia for the PS3 and I don't get it for me it's been my least favourite generation to date and I've been gaming since the NES I just feel like the ambition of the developers outweighed the capabilities of the consoles so I remember lots of games running in the lower end of 20fps range and I remember for the first time ever actually disliking the duelshock 3 and it's curved triggers
Sure there were some standouts and great games but that's the only gen I switched entirely to PC gaming
Soulslikes are punishingly difficult but amongst the most compelling games. Power Up Gaming goes through the top ten Soulslikes you're likely not playing.
Demon's Souls isn't Soulslike. It's the original Souls game. WTF? And Elden Ring?
Another Crab's Treasure simply is not.
All the journos claiming things are "Soulslike" simply don't know what that word means.
Nioh 1+2 imo are the best souls clone. Love the melee combat and ki system, really hoping team ninja doesn't abandon the IP and continue with a new title, hell just give us your take on the western fantasy setting for a new nioh game.
Comparison videos of Demon's Souls & Black Myth: Wukong running on both PS5 and PS5 Pro showcase an impressive upgrade on the mid-gen console.
Wukong actually performs worst in performance mode, wtf!
And wheres the damn update for this game. They're still more work to be done.
I saw Zero noticeable difference when I played it on Pro. The only game I’ve seen significant difference in is FF7RB but now I get these stutters after the Pro update. I can safely say that if you don’t have a PS5 then getting the Pro is a no brainer but upgrading from PS5 to Pro is not a wise move as of now. Wait for better new games.
There have been some great games this generation from Sony, even if you only include one game per franchise.
Why no love for heavenly sword:(?A very good game but underrated.
Nice list, gotta say I did personally find valkyria chronicles to be a bit of a gem. Warhawk was also epic just wish it was still as good as it was back when it first came out.
Folklore was a gorgeous little thing, I love that game to bits.
great exclusive is synonymous to ps3
