For those of you not familiar with the original Dissidia let me fill you in. Dissidia: Final Fantasy is an arena based 3D fighting game, with strong RPG character development mechanics, starring heroes and villains taken from each of the core (numbered) Final Fantasy games. The original game reviewed well but may have been overlooked by gamers as mere fan service; a real shame as it was excellent fun and very rewarding.

Hardcore Gamer: The fighting franchise starring the heroes and villains of Final Fantasy is back in action. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is the third main entry in the franchise and the first to be released on a home console. Dissidia Final Fantasy and its follow-up, 012, were both released on the PSP in 2008 and 2012 respectively. It’s been a long time since the series was last seen and game design has changed drastically since then.

I played Prologus and I will probably get this but when the price goes down. I really enjoyed the first one but this one seems like more of the same. Just a handful of new characters and levels. I was hoping the old characters would get some new moves or something to keep the experience fresh.
