Greywardens.com Opinion: Stop Recycling BioWare!

In real life, recycling is a good thing that can help humanity reduce its impact on the Earth. In video games, recycling is something of a mortal sin. For a developer that actively seeks feedback from its players (or says it does), I find it puzzling why they continue to recycle. This isn’t the first time it’s happened, but hopefully after the uproar of negative feedback, this time will be the last.

If you’ve played more than 10 hours of Dragon Age 2, you’ll immediately realize the recycling problem at its worst. The cave, the foundry, the warehouse, the mansion, the mine, the lava-filled ruin, the Darktown underground passage. Just by reading these brief descriptions, I’m sure you can probably already picture these recycled venues and the many different quests you completed in them.
