Battlefield 3 vs Crysis 2 -- best looking game of 2011?

Well i am not reading the article but i assume they mean PC versions. Cause we all know how gimped the PS3 version of Crysis 2 is.

Anyways Battlefield 3 will eat Crysis 2 for lunch after the gameplay trailers i have seen.

Hey just because they are showing Pre-Alpha software doesnt mean they are still in Pre-Alpha stages. Im really hoping they turn around and go, "Oh you liked the pre-alpha footage, get a load of the release footage."

Well nobody else is gonna say it so I will...that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The language "turns you off"?? What are you 75 years old? Have you ever been in a war zone? Talked to soldiers about their experience? I can assure you that f-bombs are tossed around like a Bangkok hooker.

The professional thing to do would be to wait for both games to come out (and why not add Rage as well?) and then compare them on a PC, running on the highest settings for each.

Two of the screens look that they came for Crysis Warhead. Pics 6 and 14 look like Crysis Warhead could be wrong but they look close and Ive just play Crysis Warhead on the PC last week.

Crysis 2 IMO will look better when the DX11 update will get released for it. As of now crysis 2 on max is the same as crysis 1.

Secondly they need to then compare Crysis 2 with the DX11 patch to BF.
Regardless, I am pissed at Crytek for bowing out and making the game with the Xbox60 in mind FIRST. WTF.
They screwed over the PC and royally screwed the PS3 version.
Barring a minor miracle i cannot see how Crysis 2 will end up looking better than BF3.

Best looking game of 2011? Well, nothing is getting close to BF3, even in it's pre alpha state, it shits on everything else out there. Even more intersting is that back in 2007, Crysis came out on PC and not a single game on console (and arguably on PC) has touched it until now that is. End of debate.

BF3 has destructible environments. Crysis 2 doesn't. Both have great graphics.

BF3 wins, and other developers need to jump on the bandwagon.
