Jennifer Taylor @ DBR writes: Kaos Studios have put together a plot so close to real life that it could be an accurate prediction. Let’s cross our fingers and hope this isn’t the case, but with the state of the world as it stands at present, it wouldn’t at all shock me if some of what Homefront portrays becomes accurate. Set in America, 2027, a new war has broken out, which has taken most of the country down with it. North and South Korea have joined forces, under the new rule of Kim Jong-un, Jong-Il’s son, and after oil prices soar to over $20 a gallon due to conflict in the Middle East, all economies and allegiances start to crumble.

Last week game dev Steve Thornton took to Twitter to ask: fellow devs, have you ever slipped something into a game you're working on that's just for you? The replies are well worth a read.
Deep Silver and Humble Bundle are currently offering the first Homefront game for free. This offer will last for the next 48 hours, so be sure to visit its Humble Bundle page in order to acquire your free copy.

Ehh, PS4 needs these deals too, or consoles in general we always get discounts rarely free stuff that's REALLY free (games with gold / psplus isn't free)
