Top Spin 4 comes out March 15. The Gamer Sheep website spent the weekend playing the new tennis game for a video review.
The reviewer found it to be fun and thinks the online setup has great potential if people can stand playing a tennis game.
From Xfire: "Sports games are the average Joe's best chance at getting to play under the big bright lights with thousands of people in the stands watching their every move. It doesn't matter if you're a hoops junkie or a baseball fan, sports video games let you live out your hopes and dreams."
GF365: "The US Open is currently underway. It reminds me of the lack of top-notch tennis video games on PS4 and Xbox One. In short: we need a new Virtua Tennis or Top Spin."
Couldn’t agree more. Been too long since I last broke some ankles in a good tennis sim.
I don’t play tennis irl, but these two games series I played the hell out of. Definitely need a new one.
Anna Kornikova’s Smash Court Tennis should have a come back!
Love them bomb blast games
Preferred the top spin series compared to Virtua but since Top Spin 4. Tennis games have been dire and bad. From bad development and junky controls nothing comes close to TS4. Only new Tennis game I've actually enjoyed has been Mario Tennis on the Switch
Microsoft's Xbox E3 2018 briefing is now a week away and it's basically guaranteed to include new Xbox 360 games to be enhanced for the Xbox One X. We've picked five of the greatest titles that could really use it.
I'd say the most important games are the ones filled with fun (filled with fun) and that Microsoft should start there
Does not support Kinect? since when?
Virtual Tennis supports it, didn't know this didn't. It was mentioned that with Kinect you would have problems moving around the court? which I don't understand because the court will never be bigger than my TV lol, and if it is then you would assume that someone has a room big enough to move around, so why is Move different, please don't tell me you will still have to use the left and right on the controller, that's just an illusion of full motion controls.
The reviewer , or the one that is plaqying the game is standing too far away from the baseline, probably never saw/played a real tennis match..
Psmove on the PS3 demo Beasted tbh was alot of fun that made my mind up on the two versions. Xbox version seems to have to extra views that are closer in but that dosent make up for the lack of motion control for me. This game crys out for motion control imho. Hell its tennis ffs "PONG" can't get more simplistic than that.
