PC Format asks whether dragons love AMD more than NVIDIA: "Dragon Age 2 is a wee bit broken in its implementation of the DirectX 11 API. AMD cards have just about gotten over their crashy-crashy mentality, but NVIDIA cards are still stuttering and struggling.
AMD CEO Lisa Su talks about the Xbox AMD partnership, next-gen Ryzen + Radeon chips, and AI rendering tech coming to all Xbox devices.
AMD is really building hype around their unique partnership with Microsoft to help and build an advanced and seamless Xbox ecosystem across all Xbox consoles and devices.
I wonder what she meant by "full roadmap of gaming optimized chips" though? Seems ambitious.
Next year´s Xbox Showcase already looks promising and exciting. Here´s hoping they deliver.
Some odd, deliberate wording, no branding, not 'Xbox consoles, Xbox handhelds' specifically, feels and sounds like they're building towards hardware that anyone can be used or licensed to/by themselves and other manufacturers.
Multiplatform software and hardware 'Xbox/AMD APU'.
Shares vision....we provide chips for money, this deal will sell many chips, we will make lots of money...good vision
The marketing behind this is so heavy that I worry about the actual outcome. Why are they just not showing us the product, why all this talking in market speak?

Pointless upgrade?
The games has a massive performance bug on Nvidia cards. It is a known fact that they perform better in DX11 than ATI/AMD cards.
I wouldn't use this as any indication. A patch is needed ASAP.
@Light
What driver was that?
I'm using 267.24 I think, I think there was a driver that was gtx580 only.
I just had a look and someone said on guru3d that a 267.59 driver would be out today and contain the performance fix for DA2.
Fingers crossed. I was getting about 40frames avg before on high ( not very high ) with SSAO and 8aa on. I expect 60 frames after a few updates, I know my card should be running better than it is. Especially when I saw an ATI6970 only score 5000 in 3d mark 11 today and I got 6100. There is no doubt that nvidia should be wiping the floor with this game.
