We celebrates the anniversary of the Atari 2600 through the medium of cruel comparisons.
This month marks the 30th anniversary of Xbox 360's great-grandfather, PS3's distant ancestor and Wii's, er, third cousin once removed. That's right, the Atari 2600! Don't tell us you didn't know...
Being the first real videogame console, 2600 was also the home of the first recognisable videogames genres. So, we thought, what better way to celebrate the old boy's big 3-0 by seeing how its brave gaming heroes compare to the audiovisual treats we take for granted today. Join us, for a scathing walk down memory lane...
November 19 marks 15 years since the release of the Uncharted game that started it all.
I hope they don’t make another until the end of the ps5 lifecycle…. Show us a better jungle
VGChartz's Issa Maki: "I finally have a proper designation akin to what I've always referred to internally as 'the line that must be crossed' or 'The Line', for short – ludonarrative dissonance – the separation from a video game's story in relation to its gameplay. Why isn't PETA all up in Mario's grill for jumping on turtles and killing fish, or charging Samus Aran with the extinction of the Metroid species? Ever notice how fire has that habit of making bosses in Resident Evil stronger? Read on my friend, for I endeavor to imbue you with the ability to engage in basic queries concerning the concept."
Bandai Namco and Project Aces released a video in which DH Sho Okada plays the music of several Ace Combat Games.
The best original sound track in my opinion is from Ace Combat5 The Unsung War.
I need to replay that game again some time soon.
Still, spent as many hours playing those games as I am on today's game.
Why does it link to the second-last page?
Too bad my memory lane stops at NES :]
Atari 2600 is the SH!T

Happy 30th Birthday Atari 2600!
I will always love my Atari 2600 and 5200. I remember the day when my parents went shopping all day just to find Pac-man.
