The arcade experience has come to consoles, but does one of them reign supreme? The PS3 and Xbox 360 go head-to-head in the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Comparison!
The character themes for Vergil, Nemesis, Strider and all the other new characters has been revealed.
Safety's Off - "The much-anticipated arrival of the next-generation iteration of the venerable Mortal Kombat franchise is shaping up quite nicely, and strangely enough, it looks as though it may actually be able to teach Capcom’s latest frenetic fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, a few things about presentation and polish."
So glad MK is back to its best, seems Capcom is taking a step backwards will all their DLC crap
I used to be obsessed with MK back in the day but after MK3 the series took a massive nose dive. I was hoping that perhaps this new MK might reignite my interesting but after playing the demo I'm definitely done with the series.
The controls haven't evolved at all. It plays just as badly now as it did in 1992. Back then MK could get away with bad controls because it had realistic looking sprites and a ton of gore but now it doesn't have anything special.
I hate to say this but MK needs to be retired for good.
The fighting system of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds may not be as deep as Street Fighter IV or Soul Calibur IV, or even Tekken 6 or Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe for that matter, but it does lend itself to multiplayer combat well. The crux of the system, as with many good Beat-‘Em-Ups, is the timing of attacks and counter attacks. A familiar blocking system can provide breaks in an enemy’s combos for quick retaliation, but correctly choosing an attack to fit in that window is essential.
Pointless Comparisons....FTW
Comparing fighting games? Hmm...

Compare the graphics of Arcade Pacman to Flash Pacman while you're at it.
I wonder if it was a conscious decision on Capcom's part to make the acronym of this game's title "FTW". ;)
I seriously cant tell the difference.. what was the point of this?
