Adam Dolge of PSU.com writes, "If you have any concern that using PlayStation Move in Top Spin 4 will provide a “lite” experience, the team at 2K Czech says you can expect precise controls and the same functional gameplay as with a standard SIXAXIS controller."
A group of surgeons made headlines after they managed to perform an endoscopic procedure on a pig located in Hong Kong by using PlayStation controllers. It involved the use of a PS5 DualSense controller as well as a PlayStation Move controller.
That's really cool. It's crazy something like that is possible with gaming controllers 1000's of miles away.
Air Conflicts: Secret Wars debuted in 2011, and later updated for modern consoles. However, it's the PlayStation 3 edition that stands out.
Sony's PlayStation Move may not have been able to contend with Nintendo's Wii, but it paved the way for PlayStation VR's success story.
Lack of games that proved the concept that 3rd parties could then copy en masse?
Because it was a uninspired ripoff of the Wii controller without the Nintendo library to back it and didn't try to put any real effort into development such as getting their top developers to make games for it and instead gave tech demos disguised as games to their least talented developers so the best can focus on single player only games.
Socom, killzone, resistance and tiger wood 14 were great with the move but agree lacked more games.
Why would you expect a lite version?
If anything there should be more nuance and subtlety.
Theres no reason to dumb games down just to put move into them.
Played the demo with move nav controller and move controller it works a treat tbh. I like playing with the Control pad but tbh id probably after trying the demo out play threw and online with move instead of my six axis. It feels fresh on move and it is not comprimised in anyway.
I played the xbox demo aswell to make up for no Kinect support they have added an extra view the close in view again. I don't think thats much of a trade of for no motion support but i can see why it was not supported Kinect would not be able to cope with this game.
You would need insane room without a nav controller to make the net etc. If they did emplement it it would either have to be gesture controled are on the rails. For me that just would not work. Also again underlines one the reasons i worry for Kinect overall scope in games has to be limited for these reasons.
Tennis isn't the hardest a games surely to get right hell pong wasn't that hard was it. I have Kinect but atm its £150 worth of dust on top of my tv.
Played it with Move. It can be challenging at first. You just have to get the timing right.
Once you do, the desire to pick up a controller is gone. Why play a tennis game without Move now?
Dust my friend ;) Ive got Kinect adventures, Joy ride and Sports. All hardly used at all turned them on to try impress the mates they had like a few goes and it was like get COD on :/
I'll try out the demo right now. Too bad no chance for playing Virtua Tennis yet... I'm still a bit in doubt about which one to pick up.
