Changes in Forza Horizon 4's Festival Playlist and Delisting from Digital Stores

Due to licensing and agreements with our partners, Forza Horizon 4 will be delisted from digital platforms (Microsoft Store and Steam) on December 15, 2024. This means the game and its additional content will no longer be available for purchase through online stores.

Wow, these games get pulled waay too soon. This is why I buy the complete editions on Steam out right instead of Gamepassing them. I can still play my Forza Horizon 3 (Australia still being my favorite location), and after this pull, I will still be able to play my Forza Horizon 4. For all you Gamepass folks, you better jump on it soon!

I only recently bought Forza Horizon 5 Complete a few months ago. I'm still yet to play it, but I'm glad I've got that secured in. These games are a blast to play w a proper wheel. As if XBox didn't already have a sparse enough lineup of true exclusives. These and MS Flight Simulator are the real draw for me.

Did you not read the article?

"Starting today, June 25; Forza Horizon 4’s DLC will get delisted from platforms, meaning that only Forza Horizon 4 Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate versions will be available for purchase from this day until delisting happens.

From this date forward we will offer different discounts for Forza Horizon 4, like the one currently active on Steam (at the time of publishing); we will also have a sale in the Xbox Store on 7/14."

Forza Horizon 4 Duluxe and the Ultimate version will be on sale starting from 14th July 2024, until it's delisted on 15th December 2024.

Did you not properly read my comment?

I said: " For all you Gamepass folks, you better jump on it soon! " As in, you have until December to pick it up if you still want to buy it and keep it forever. After that, it's gone.

My comment was directed at Gamepass players who aren't buying games anymore. This is why it's better to just buy them outright earlier on when they're on sale.

I'm going to file your response under, "No s***". Read better next time, please.

The game has been out for 6 years.... what is taking you so long if these are a draw for you?

Shadow of the Erdtree is difficult, shame it's just not fun

Many people are upset at how difficult Shadow of the Erdtree is, and for good reason. It would be fine, if it was challenging in a fun way.

I'm having an absolute blast, and I'm a very mediocre player. Just use the summons and your spirit ashes if you think a boss is too hard. Nobody is forcing you to play the game in the most difficult way possible.

It's fantastic, fun and difficult, not using any bleed or broken builds and not summons and spirit ash, the game just too good

Someone at videogamer.com is really salty and butthurt.

Oh stop it, now. This DLC is just as fun for me as the base game. Sure the difficulty spike is there, but it brings about the exact same feelings of awe and enjoyment I had in the base. I don’t know why it’s popular now to jump on a hate train for this expansion.

Even if the difficulty is too much, which honestly I haven’t felt it to be as drastic as some say, you can gather the tree fragments to balance things out.

I’m struggling to really see how you can say the base game I fun but the DLC isn’t. There is no stark difference to me other than setting and how strong the enemies are.

Git Gud.
