6. DMC2 6/10
5. DMC4 7.5/10 (Hated Nero, repeat bosses, Dante was the saving grace but only about half the game)
4. DmC 7.5/10 (solid overall, some great ideas, meh story, dialog sucked, and the director almost killed DMC)
3. DMC1 8.5/10 (all around solid)
2. DMC5 9/10 (carried by Dante & Nero gameplay, I didn’t like V’s, Nero’s better but still not a fan)
1. DCM3 10/10 (chef’s kiss)

I think all of them are worth playing in their own right honestly, except 2 unless you REALLY want to experience the whole series.
I honestly don't know what the author was smoking, personally I'd rank DMC3 as no.1, maybe DMC5 as second, DMC1 as third, DMC4 as fourth, and DMC as fifth and DMC2 last. such a bizarre list, mybe the author just has strange taste.

This and putting DMC 2 number 2 is all I need to ignore this ranking. DMC2 is absolute trash and it's clear this person doesn't understand exactly why.
Soulslikes are punishingly difficult but amongst the most compelling games. Power Up Gaming goes through the top ten Soulslikes you're likely not playing.
Demon's Souls isn't Soulslike. It's the original Souls game. WTF? And Elden Ring?
Another Crab's Treasure simply is not.
All the journos claiming things are "Soulslike" simply don't know what that word means.
The term “Soulslike” has become ridiculously diluted. I have seen it used for games just because they are difficult.
Nioh 1+2 imo are the best souls clone. Love the melee combat and ki system, really hoping team ninja doesn't abandon the IP and continue with a new title, hell just give us your take on the western fantasy setting for a new nioh game.
Comparison videos of Demon's Souls & Black Myth: Wukong running on both PS5 and PS5 Pro showcase an impressive upgrade on the mid-gen console.
Well yeah it tells you the difference— 1440p vs 4k for 60fps. You have to watch the video in 4k to see the difference.
Wukong actually performs worst in performance mode, wtf!
And wheres the damn update for this game. They're still more work to be done.
I saw Zero noticeable difference when I played it on Pro. The only game I’ve seen significant difference in is FF7RB but now I get these stutters after the Pro update. I can safely say that if you don’t have a PS5 then getting the Pro is a no brainer but upgrading from PS5 to Pro is not a wise move as of now. Wait for better new games.
So you’re telling me that I DONT have a PS5 Pro and you’re telling me that I DONT have Demon’s Souls and you’re telling me that I DID in fact see a different in a game that according to you I don’t have? Im assuming you’re one of the lucky few who owns a Pro saw a major Difference in Demon’s Souls right?
I wouldn't really call MGS4 challenging, it was quite more on the easy way. Amazing game none the less!

Decent list with the exception of the games listed because of Difficulty settings.
To me, you have to judge the game in its native format.
Playing MGS4 for the achivement or something is a choice.
To play and beat Demons's Souls, Simon's Quest, Mario, Battletoads, you have no choice but to plow through.
