I was rather disapointed with L4D2, i sank a lot of time into the first one and loved it, second one just felt stale rather quickly, shoulda released it around xmas 10 and not xmas 2009.

Gears of War 1, 2 & 3 is arguably the ultimate console co-op game.
L4D being the ultimate PC co-op game.

I have to agree, Gears is the best co-op game I've played. Can't wait for the 4-player co-op in Gears 3.

Fable 3 should also be on that list. Say what you want about the game, the co-op is excellent.

Good list, but my one of my all time favorite co-op games was Splosion Man. Oh and hey Behemoth games i'll take Castle Crashers 2 any time now.

And on topic, RE5 was a great co-op game, I wish there were more that were as fun as that one was.

Resident Evil 5 co-op is a lot of fun although it does take the horror/scary aspect of the game but that's ok, it was good game to me. L4D is also very enjoyable.
