Leaked Image of Frank West & Strider in MVC3

A leaked picture of Frank West and Strider Hiryu have been spreading around the web like wildfire. What appears to be a cell phone picture, captures a image of the characters life bar and part of Strider's body.

If you look at those two images closely, they're obviously not the same images of Strider. The wrong knee is up and that ring around his waist isn't in the same angle. Even if the image was mirrored or partially mirrored, they aren't the same image.

Someone on destructoid said they were fake and proved it. I would LOVE this to be real. I want Strider.

After looking back and forth between those 2, it's kinda hard to immediately right it off as fake. Yea it's looking fishy, but I wouldn't be too quick to write it off just yet.

If it's fake, it's fake, but it's well done. If not, awesome.

I know they're fake, but it's still not that image. Look at that wrinkle near his ankle on both pics. Even though they're aligned, they don't end in the same place and that thing around his waist is still off.

Frank West has yet to appear on the PS3. I highly doubt he'll be a PS3 (or exclusive at all) when he finally appears in MvC3. SO STFU fanboy.

It's called a "leaked" image for a reason. It's not like somebody can walk into the Capcom offices, whip out a digital camera and carefully take a picture. Making sure to capture every detail. This is, of course, after asking the programmers to kindly move out of the way so that a clear shot may be obtained.

It'd be infinitely easier to snap a shitty lower corner screen shot than an obviously fake, zoomed-in character name and face shot.

The first posters picture does a lot to prove the insincerity of the image in question.

Frank West was selected as the playable character. Strider would be on the screen as the assist, however why not just take a full picture of the fight to show Frank as well?

More so, in this day and age where every phone has a camera and the ability to record video. Why not just take a video instead of a still?

Will these characters find their way into the game at some point? Most likely, especially Strider. However, this image is in no way an accurate capture of those 2 in action, and given the evidence will have to consider it fake.
