There is no controversy with this game. No more than the story lines present in numerous RTS, and FPS games. And Kaos knows what they are doing in analyzing events in the world that in themselves breeds attention for their games. Front Line Fuel of War, the U.S. and the world experienced high oil cost which drove gas prices up. Coincidence Front lines dropped at that time or damn good analyzing of the world and clever quality marketing? I say the latter.
Did a war over fuel actually happen? Nope. Did fuel stabalize at lower prices? Yep. Having a war over fuel is stupid anyways. It just uses more fuel.

Common sense is acceptable in this world. And common sense states Kaos knows North Korea presents no credible threat to the world and elevating them to such a position in their video game will generate tons of attention. This article is a by-product of damn good marketing. Think of this game as an alternate universe if grasping this is too difficult. Kill you all later on the 15th. I for one welcome my North Korean rulers... the hell I do! WOLVERINES!
