GamerNode: Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Review

Fighting game fans will fall in love immediately with the "easy to play, hard to master" format of the game, and fresh faces will be able to build themselves up from step one on to the online experience. MvC2 was the last fighter i really got into, and now im finding myself playing MvC3 for hours at a time choosing to lose sleep rather than put down the controller. but the one thing that would have made this game a 5/5 for me was the storyline. i wish there was one being a big marvel fan as a kid and playing so much street fighter, I really would like to know how this whole tournament comes about. but really its a small gripe in a excellent game.

Whether it was a colossal successful partnership with Marvel Comics or a collaboration with rivals Namco and SNK, the “Vs.” series brought unforgettable experiences to the fighting genre.
