Call of Duty is the most successful series in terms of sales on the current generations of consoles, and in what may seem like a complete oxymoron, is one of the most hated franchises of all time. To be honest, I am also a part of this hypocrisy. I can not deny that the online game-play of the series’s many titles are the best of all time, though quality appears to have slid over the years. In our history of trying to look past the fanboy rants at the true, seething emotions below the surface, we previously analyzed why the COD series is so successful. In a complete turn of events, we will today analyze why Call of Duty is such a hated franchise… by comparing it to the equally hated Justin Bieber.
