CD Projeckt talks The Witcher 2 for consoles

The Witcher 2 is currently in development at CD Project RED for a PC release this May. While the company had originally said in March 2010 that a console version was in the works, the firm downgraded the home platform release to “potential” that October. Today, the developer expands greater on that potential.

BF3 is not PC exclusive but look @ the what the quality difference will be gameplay wise! huge!!

Crysis 2 dx11 with nvidia quality will be huge!! including dedi servers!

Skyrim is confirmed to have the creation kit released with the game!!

They can have all the PC games they want as long as they don't kill quality for the PC version in doing so.
So far this has been the trend this generation. PC games have been getting in the rear because of the inferior tech behind the Xbox360 and PS3.
Continue to give loving to the PC please.

Very true, but I have to admit, Crysis 2 and BF3 gives me a little bit of hope for devs to take real advantage of the hardware on PC. Even Deus Ex is supposed to be using many DX11 features, we will see how well though.

i cant afford a rig that will play this game in all he glory it deserves to be played in so if a 60 dollar retail version comes up for a PS3 and plays well (and looks good) then hell yeah!

I think you will really enjoy it. The one first is not a terribly demanding game, if you have a decent Pc you should be fine. It's very mature and gritty.

Fair play to them!! I can't wait for this game and beloved a broad audience should play it. The original game was bloody brilliant, the mod community is massive. God. Its one of few games I have basically no complaints about.
I even loved the combat system! !

So can't wait for this!

The thought of exclusives is going away unfortunately. Publishers want to maximize cash flow so they are going multi-plat which makes sense business wise.

As a PC gamer I only get upset about multi-plats when.....
A. it's just a mindless arcade game that is dumbed down and not up to the strategic level of PC gamers

B. it's a horrible console port that doesn't utilize the bleeding edge tech and power of the PC

other than that a good game is a good game no matter the platform but at least take full advantage of the platform. The Witcher 2 and Battlefield 3 are great examples of developers sticking to PC quality while giving console gamers a taste of greatness.
