It’s not often that I’ll boot up a game I’ve already completed, especially if I’d finished it fairly recently. Even more so if the game is an RPG, a genre whose games typically take 20+ hours to complete and often have grind-heavy areas. Mass Effect 2 is different, though. It is one of those rare titles that actively encourages you to play again by rewarding repeated playthroughs with perhaps not new, but certainly different, experiences.
In addition to the roughly 100 job cuts IGN reported earlier today at Respawn Entertainment, EA has made wider cuts across its organization today, impacting around 300 individuals total including those already reported at Respawn.
Absolutely insane. Man I'm hope they land on their feet EA needs to get the shit together badly....
This is why this industry has slow releases and none compelling games.
Why would anyone willingly work in the VG industry or specifically for one of these globocorp organizations that put you in constant fear of losing your livelihood based on terrible choices made by idiotic management, not the people with talent making the actual games?
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor & Fallen Order are now playable on Amazon Luna thanks to a new multi-year deal with EA. Cloud gaming just leveled up.
Sadly just if you subscribe to Luna it appears. I hooked my EA account into it, which has Jedi Survivor, and it doesn't show in my Library. They don't show as a source either, so just a heads up to not let your purchasing decision be swayed as to where you pick the titles up if a bonus streaming option held any interest.
EA CEO Andrew Wilson talked about the company's business and plans and shared a few interesting remarks about the Switch 2.
The only game I bought from EA this generation has been Jedi Survivor and it was a broken mess (might still be)
I just beat it last week. Amazing. AMAZING!
I played the first one.. was really cool to it. Dug the characterization and the story but the gameplay was lacking. But they totally nailed it this time around. I had to go back and slug through the first one. I am now a fan and eagerly awaiting the next. Wish I hadn't waited for the PS3 version, but it may genuinely be the tightest version of the game. It may have been for the best.
I was thrilled to hear it won the AIAS game of the year. It was perfectly timed with my enthusiasm.
Excellent review. Thanks for this!
One of the Best games you will ever play. I played it on the PC, and for any PS3 owners out there, pick is up now as you get all the add ons.
Can't wait until ME3 is released.
yeah, still haven't gotten round to playing but i'll probably pick up a pc version sometime. have always been a fan of script games so including it definitely raises the title a few notches in my book.
I bought psn version its a great game plus mass effect 3 engine the physics were smooth fun.
