I wish more rpg's like this would make it's way over to the ps3 and just so i dont sound bias the xbox 360

palaeomerus5235d ago

It's not that much an RPG. It's more akin to the old sim games or the Tycoon games that came later.

@Blazej302
After playing the demo I cant see how this game would be played without a mouse. It's beyond me why doesn't Sony and M$ add mouse and keyboard support.

Ps3 does have KB/mouse support

SkyGamer5235d ago (Edited 5235d ago )

Maybe but I think the poster was talking bout game support. Really don't know why I'd use a mpuse/kb on a console when I have a gtx470 and 16 gb ddr3 ram.

Substance1015235d ago

Most console gamers prefer to play on game pad, even if PS3 does support Mouse KB, the development cant happen just based on Mouse KB, they need to make sure it works for the controller as well. Since console gamers usually dont like playing with Mouse KB, Which is the reason why hardly any games support Mouse KB on PS3.

i wish i could recommend it but, imo, the demo was pretty lame.

controls and performance were perfect though, this is a very niche game with small appeal, hopefully they sell a lot for their own sake, i wish smaller devs like this well, if it had a bit more action, i would pick it up.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker team is working on a sequel

Dungeons & Dragon’s most famous sibling comes back to Kickstarter in February

olorin8181978d ago

I am just playing through the first game in the series, and really enjoying it. They've done great job with the game, and consequent patching it (I understand there were balancing issues at launch).

But I don't understand why they're taking the sequel on Kickstarter. The first game should have been proving grounds for them, to be able to take on sequel with sales from the first game. I don't know the figures behind it, or the business model they're going with, and how much of it is driven by the necessity, financial greed, or gauging the interest for sequel (often used to then seek further funding from private investors, when goals at met, demonstrating demand, as it was done with Kingdom Come Develierance).

I'm not sure of the financial aspects of it but the first release was pretty awesome.

Oh definitely! I really enjoy base / kingdom management aspect in rpg games and it was a great to see that implemented. Made the game stand out from other crpgs!
