Where’s That Newfangled Portable Xbox?

With all the hype about the new handheld consoles, the 3DS and the Sony NGP, one has to wonder where is Microsoft in all this hullabaloo? Microsoft has never officially confirmed working on a next generation portable handheld, but rumors abound regardless of the taciturn responses received, partially due to the potential incredible features people seem to expect from Microsoft's first entry into the handheld market. Let's get one thing straight- if even one-tenth of the rumors I've heard about a potential Microsoft handheld are true, then it will likely cost less than or equal to any Xbox on the market, have a battery life that will advertise itself as lasting more than five hours at a minimum, and have the capability to play full fledged Xbox 360 games without any lag or slowdown.
