Man, this looks pretty good. Can't wait till this releases.

bageara4824d ago

is the best ive ever seen of any game!

Commander_TK4824d ago

I had to f***ing change my boxers. Seriously, I haven't been so excited for a video game since those Red Dead Redemption trailers.

HolyOrangeCows4824d ago

They weren't kidding about facial animations.

fredfenster4824d ago

Pretty good? These faces are looking amazingly realistic!

Perjoss4824d ago

Last time i saw good facial capture was in heavenly sword, but the quality of it in LA Noire is crazy. If more devs start using this technique it will be a huge advancement for gaming in general. Good times.

Keith Olbermann4824d ago

Epic..another day one purchase for 2011. I just hope it isnt shooter heavy. I'm glad it has shooting I just dont want a ton of it.

BiggCMan4824d ago

Right, this is what I am thinking as well. From what I saw in this video, the shooting looks exactly like GTA IV and RDR, which isn't really a problem. I just hope, like you said that it doesn't rely too much on shooting. I got bored with GTA IV and RDR pretty quickly, they both were just ok titles not deserving of all their praise in my opinions. I hope L.A Noire can change that. The graphics are definitely a step up, I love the crime solving parts, and I really hope they play a huge part in the game like this video says.

Blacktric4824d ago

And they showed the footage from PS3 version. This is a first in Rockstar's history if I'm not mistaken. In all of their narrated gameplay videos (the ones for Red Dead Redemption for example), they always used the Xbox 360 footage but now they chose PS3 instead. AWESOME!

Liamario4824d ago

The reason for that was because in those games the 360 version was superior graphically. They seemed to have finally caught up. It only took 5 years!!

Commander_TK4824d ago

It's Team Bondi, not Rockstar. And it was exclusive b4 it went multiplat.

MariaHelFutura4824d ago (Edited 4824d ago )

That`s amazing. It looks like a mix between Heavy Rain & GTA.

BTW, It`s pretty sad the PS3/360 sales artical above this one has more comments than this debut video.

Epic. This and witcher 2 in may!

CYBERSNAKE4824d ago

Facial animation during gameplay looks fantastic.
Got a feeling this game will be as big as Red Dead this year.

CYCLEGAMER4824d ago

Yes...Wow....I mean look at the facial animation at 2:01. This game is definitely on my radar now.

gillri4824d ago

been on my radar for almost 2 years

CYCLEGAMER4824d ago (Edited 4824d ago )

@jbiz320
Yes now....The last time I saw anything related to this game was about a year ago, plus I never really payed any attention to it because it just seemed like another Mafia game, but this video showed me otherwise.

Hands Up For Games4824d ago

I disagree CYBERSNAKE . . . . . . . . . . . .

I think its going to be even BIGGER :)!!

BiggCMan4824d ago

Red Dead wasn't all that special anyways so I'm pretty confident that this will surpass it. As long as it stays away from the shooter like mentality, than this should be a great game. Red Dead was just GTA IV all over again, and niether were really amazing.

danmachine4824d ago

OK i wasn't hyped before but i want this game now.

my only worry is that the NPCS on the streets without this new capture technology will look out of place.

bronxsta4824d ago

Dude, I paused the video at the gameplay parts. The NPC faces looks great. Pause at 0:14. That's the best one. Don't worry.

bronxsta4824d ago

Incredible.
From the video, it looks like this game sets the bar for open-world graphics. The shootouts looks intense, the car chases looks fast and thrilling, the faces are truly amazing, and the varied gameplay looks awesome.

Day one for me.

L.A. Noire And Bully — Rockstar's Lost Gems That Deserve A Sequel As Much As GTA

Hanzala from eXputer: "I do appreciate GTA 6, Rockstar, but if I could trade it for a new L.A. Noire or a Bully game, I'd do so in a heartbeat."

Skuletor19d ago

How are they lost? You can get L.A. Noire on Steam, PS5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch and Bully is on the PS5 and Xbox Series too.

Psychonaut8519d ago

I want a new Manhunt game. But that will never happen.

Demetrius19d ago

Mfs are too sensitive nowadays and would cry instead of being concerned bout real world problems

Demetrius19d ago

Whenever gta 6 launch we won't be getting another rockstar title for another 10 years lol but on the positive side they bou to come back n show how open world supposed to be done 🔥

Skuletor19d ago

I won't expect any singleplayer DLC like IV's The Lost & Damned or The Ballad of Gay Tony after it launches either

12 Years Later, L.A. Noire is Still an Excellent Experience

There was a lot to love about Rockstar and Team Bondi's 2011 open world title.

One I never finished. I've been looking at the ps4 version off Amazon the last few months just never bit

Knightofelemia124d ago

It's worth playing LA Noire is one of my favorite Rockstar games. But I would also check out pawnshops or thrift stores if you want the game dirt cheap. Someone may have been dumb enough to dump the game.

andy85124d ago

Baffles me when people have these opinions about acclaimed games 😂

RhinoGamer88125d ago

100% agree... not perfect, but an engaging/refreshing experience.

sagapo124d ago

Agree, at time of release those facial expressions were amazing! They still hold strong even today imo.
The game on its own was good. Something fresh, but sidequests were a bit meh after a while.

Nacho_Z124d ago

I picked it up on sale recently, going to play it next summer. I'll get more out of it this time, first time around I treated the open world like it was GTA and goofed about, whereas now I'll play it with more respect. RDR2 has trained me well.

I also hadn't read Raymond Chandler at the time so presumably that'll add another layer of enjoyment too.

1nsomniac124d ago (Edited 124d ago )

Absolutely stunning game. So underrated. Played through it again last year and it still stands up so well. Like many of rockstars games it’s actually a far better experience on PC. I didn’t enjoy it as much on console. Completed it at least 3 times on pc.

The rumours of a sequel are awesome news despite the fact I think Rockstar are now the shell of the company they once were.

SyntheticForm124d ago

Team Bondi made a hell of a game.

Six Best Historically Accurate Games

GF365: "Out of the many historically accurate games out there, these are our picks for the six best games that are historically accurate. While these games aren't completely accurate, they depict the times and situations of history well. Plus, they're all a lot of fun to play, too."

Historically accurate from the past is tough to truly know and judge especially the farther you go back because history is written from the people in power and doesn’t mean it’s the truth just the narrative they wanted to tell.

I don’t care about historically accurate in most games because they are games not biographies or history books . Just make the game fun , good gameplay and such .

Ghost of Tsushima wasn’t historically accurate in many things but I loved the game . Many examples like it .
