Guerrilla talks Killzone 3, post-release patches, PS3 hacks, and how to outdo Naughty Dog...
Guerrilla Games' upcoming multiplayer Horizon title could be dubbed "Hunters Gathering," according to a new leak.
I wish PlayStation Studios would just stick to what they do best, making great single player games.
It’s been over a year since the launch of Guerrilla’s Horizon Forbidden West, and we’d like to share an update on our Aloy’s Forest project with you. This initiative is part of our commitment to the United Nations Playing for the Planet Alliance, supported by UN-REDD, to raise awareness on biodiversity.
Oh sure… yeah, totally what I think of when I’m busy entertaining myself by gaming and breaking away from the norm mainline of highly profitable / incentivized concerns in the world
The Amsterdam-based studio reflects on its humble beginnings, beloved franchises, and growth through the years.
Up there with the top tier in the industry. Love Guerrilla Games - Horizon Burning Shores is simply STUNNING.
32.7M sales in the Horizon franchise! With 8.4M coming from Forbidden West alone! Truly a hugely successful game and franchise as a whole. Looking forward to Horizon III
Yooo, when I first saw that Killzone 1 footage at E3, my friends my brothers and I were like, Holy shit! When it came out, it didn't look exactly like it, but we sunk so many hours into 1 & 2.
I even liked Killzone: SF, it was a spectacle to look at, and even today it looks good. I hope they make a new one. Can you imagine how that will look, and they can get some modern FPS pointers from Bungie.
Such a wonderful studio. They deserve all their success.
The Decima Engine is absolute 🔥 I'm just mad they have abandoned Killzone.
Take that GamePro review, for example. The guy didn't even bother with the multiplayer. How can you review a game, where the multiplayer is prevalent to anything else, and not even touch the multiplayer?
I'm not saying that the single-player campaign should be ignored, but crap that like that is really agitating. The worst thing is, it doesn't matter in regards to the context of the review. Metacritic will still accept the review at face value. So someone could see that 6 or 7 out of 10 and take it as though the game is mediocre, when in reality the consumer would have no idea that the reviewer didn't even bother giving the game its full credit.
There was another review where the reviewer liked everything but the story, and then gave the game another arbitrary score. Can someone refresh my memory on that one? I can't remember if it was IGN, or someone else.
"When Killzone 2 came out, the guys at Naughty Dog were kind of, 'okay we're going to outdo them'. Then Uncharted 2 and God of War III came out, and we were looking at that thinking, that looks better than what we had. How can we outdo them yet again? So yeah, we constantly try and one-up each other and that's great because ultimately it benefits the gamer. You get better games because of it."
I love it. There's a sense of rivalry between the studios, but they keep it friendly. I love Guerrilla, Naughty Dog and Insomniac for this exact reason.

" I don't think we've seen the end of what's possible on PlayStation 3. There's still more of these things where we can be smarter and better utilise the SPUs. Yes, we're keeping them fully occupied, they're working 100% of the time, but they could be doing smarter things, and that's where the advantage lies."
Confirmed: Playstation 3 to remain the graphics king til the end of this gen and beyond! :D :D :D
