My girlfriend wouldn't get into any of those games I don't think. She liked Viva Pinata Party Animals. She likes Angry Birds. She likes Kinect. If I ever saw her play ME2,ES, or Fallout, I would be highly suprised. Although, I did get her to play Black Ops for a hour or so and she didnt want to quit. Once she got her first kill, she wanted more. She only had 1 kill for that hour but she was ecstatic.

Most Ladies i know play Dragon Age, WOW, Bad Company 2, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and anything thats a point and click adventure.

I tried the "point and click" type of games and I got bored after 5 minutes (just so you know, I'm a lady too). But I guess I'm one of the exceptions to the rule. I love shooters and hack 'n slashers though. :)

I wasn't generalizing women but just stating facts about the women I know that game, they all like point n click type of games. They also like shooters as well as I pointed out. (They can't drive vehicles worth a crap in BFBC2) :) just kidding.

It's clear the woman likes games, sure but the way she talks/writes about them relates to a 40 year old man trying to hang around with his teenage son and his friends. And much like that dad, she's just pretending.

Hi Jeeves.

I didn't put my article on here ( that isn't my picture either and it isn't an xbox controller). I actually wrote it somewhere else and I was being honest. I like all of those games- my favorite being Oblivion ( although very close with Fallout 3).

And my husband doesn't think of it quite like you described, he actually likes that I am willing to play video games.

I am not a pretender. :) COD has a lag at our house so I don't like it. I think Halo: ODST is chaotic and the cut scenes are aggravating. I have completed Halo 1-3, don't like Halo Wars(not into strategy games), and haven't purchased Halo: Reach. I don't like Fable it can be silly although I haven't tried 3 yet. ( Also I am much better than the husband at Rainbow 6 Vegas which I thought was pretty good co op)

The games are older but they are good but thanks for the honesty. I will keep that in mind next time I write about a game.
