148apps - A confession to begin with. I’ve never played the original Earth Defense Force. I’ve got a feeling that unfortunately it never came out in Europe but feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. I do rather enjoy old school side scrolling shooters though. They’re ideal to switch your brain off and simply switch to primal urges to shoot anything that moves.

Alien forces is back in the sixth major entry in the all-out extra-terrestrial battle defence game series, Earth Defense Force returns and there is a new enemy to fight.
D3 Publisher and developer Sandlot have announced their latest title in the series, Earth Defense Force 6, and it will be launching next year in 2021 in Japan, as announced on the Playstation Blog Japan site.
Earth Defense Force fans and newcomers alike will probably have a good time with this bug-zapping mobile port.
