PS3 Vault – Alien Breed 2: Assault Review

Isometric twin-stick shooters are so in fashion right now. During recent months a handful of games belonging to this antiquated genre have made their way onto PS3, including Crystal Dynamics’ Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Housemarque’s Dead Nation, and most recently Dead Ops Arcade, a mini-game hidden within Treyarch’s FPS Call of Duty: Black Ops. In addition, Team 17 quietly released Alien Breed 2: Assault towards the end of 2010, the middle entry in a trilogy of PlayStation Network titles aiming to reinvent the original series that captivated Commodore Amiga gamers almost twenty years ago.
