CES 2011: AMD demos Fusion APU against Atom on thermal camera
AMD had an interesting demonstration at CES this week where they compared one of the new Fusion based E-series APU netbook against an Intel dual-core N550 netbook when viewed through a thermal camera. The results were intriguing – both machines were playing back 1080p video on YouTube and while both were stutter free experiences, the heat produced by the Atom machine was definitely higher.
