Kirby’s Epic Yarn May Be Cute, But Give it Credit!
Game Podunk Content Manager, Rrquinta writes, "Some of you may be aware that recently, Entertainment Weekly caused a bit of a stir when they revealed that their worst game of 2010 was not something like Naughty Bear, but rather the creative new take on Nintendo's pink mascot, Kirby's Epic Yarn. The publication's Jeff Jensen originally complained that the game was "too cute," and thus the worst game of the year. Obviously, this riled up many gamers, and not just Nintendo Fanboys. Not only had he passed up on plenty of stinkers from this past year (Hydrophobia, anyone?), but his explanation for his choice was just plain silly. Even more confusing was the fact that another writer for the publication awarded the game a B+, not just passing, but eligible for the honor role in many places. So what gives?…"
