"It's a refreshing reminder that these kinds of games, while extremely rare, are still being made by developers who are as passionate as -- and much, much smarter than -- the rest of us."
the reviews keep getting better and better :-)
Yes, it's getting good scores. But after the way that GT5 was bashed I really don't care. LBP2 could be getting 2/10 or 1/5 scores and I would still buy it.
9s and 10s across the board. Seems like even the pickiest reviewers have to admit that LBP2 is ace.
This is not 2006-2009 anymore. By now PS3 gamers should have caught on to the rubbish nonsense the gaming media pull with PS3 exclusives. Any PS3 gamer that listens to or looks to reviews to inform them of PS3 games (especially exclusives) is dumb. This is not 1989. Nowadays you have so many sources for you to grab your own info: HD vids of gameplay, trailers, developer interviews, betas and demos. If you have access to all these and then not go buy or play these very games you're interested in because metacritic tells you it's a 7or8, then there is no other way to put it - YOU ARE SIMPLE SLAVE MINED SHEEP.
@cobpswii3600 Huzzah! Bubbles for you sir
Just look at this exclusive list. PS3 is absolutely dominating http://i.imgur.com/1I4c9.jp...
well... i just can't wait for this game. goodbye GT5. i guess i'll have to settle for lvl 26. q:
Though I am getting this day one (got it pre ordered), I CANNOT say goodbye to GT5. Something about it keeps pulling me back in even when the AI sometimes pisses me the heck off and makes me never want to race again. Hehe. Anyways, I can't wait for this game!!
well the only thing left for me is getting X1. i'm too wimp for Endurance races... he heh. i'll keep coming back to GT5 though. i was playing it for last one month. q:
They keep getting better because the reviews that are complaining that they didn't become master level creators in a few days are the ones belting out their reviews the fastest.
Another Trible A score!
4th 10/10 and counting
it has a Average Score of 91 its a Trible A game
That is if your counting no name sites that have no effect on the meta. If were to count for legit sites, the score sits at about 96
Triple A game doesn't really depend on scores. Or at least thats the other way of looking at it. http://www.troelsfolmann.co...
LBP2 is killing seen like 5 perfect tens
gutted theres still 17 days till uk release
you? My PS3 done got YLOD yesterday! LOL I can not even play it.
Or. It's 17 days to release!!!!!!! ZOMFG!
Bet there is a lbp level that features tribbles lol
And it's a Move title. Good game is good.
Unfortunately not. Quoting MTV review: "Don't Move So Quickly While "Prehistoric Moves" is a nice addition to the overall "LittleBigPlanet 2" package, it's still surprisingly misleading to label "LBP2" as "Move Compatible." The entire story mode, and user-created levels have zero Move functionality, and even though "Moves" is enjoyable, it comes off as an afterthought just to support Sony latest product."
Review scores mean nothing to me, I will buy it based on how much I enjoyed the 1st game.
Pre-ordered the collectors edition. I can't wait!
The demo was a blast!
I am glad. Joystiq's scores are one of the few scores that still matter to me. If they like it then any doubts of me buying it are gone. Nice way to start the new year. LBP2 and ME2 for PS3 are epic,Angry Birds and some nice PSN updates with more to come. Good to have a PS3.
Holy crap the 10's are pouring in now.
Like the author states, this is a fresh reminder that fun games still exist. Playing LBP with friends lasts dozens of hours. This game offers so much more... I can only imagine...
