TGE: The title of David O. Russell’s new film,The Fighter, is actually a bit of a misnomer, and I was happy to be misled here. Because, who really wants to see yet another formulaic movie about an athlete overcoming the odds, or worse, what I feared was to be merely a cheap reprise of Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler?
