Shinji Mikami did RE4, and Inafune did not direct the Onimusha games, he just produced them.

Yh, although RE5 is good action game, but not much as a horror game. RE4 rules. That game's scary. Btw, Capcom's ridiculously milked DLC also is a problem. That's why I call them Crapcom.

I, for one, absolutely loved Bionic Commando. I played and finished it at the near-impossible Commando mode, THAT'S how much I loved the game. I think its lack of success was the result of people being too lazy to play hard games, not any business decision.

Its funny though...he was complaining about Japan being communist in the gaming industry (which is a good thing Communism >>> Capitalism)and saying how they are paid no matter what happens with the game and all that stuff yet Japan continues to put out awesome games...obviously its not affecting how they make a game that much...

They weren't PS1 exclusives. RE1 was on Saturn and the others games appeared on numerous systems. Hell, most of them are on PC.

Saturn , ps1, pS2, PS3,N64, Dreamcast, Gamecube, wii , 360, PC, Ds, GBA.

Every game was at lest present on 2 console Minimum.

has a very special place in my heart as the first rpg I ever played. Absolutely great old school rpg. BoF IV was pretty good, no real complaints. But number V changed...well everything. Capcom completely changed every single staple about the series besides the staple 'main character can transform into a dragon' But they put a TOTAL time limit on how long you can be dragon MAX the ENTIRE GAME!! So stuuuuupid! I want to be a dragon in the damn games where the main character is half a dragon! Not save it for the last boss battles of the games >_<

Anyways because the last game tanked so bad it wasn't funny, we no longer have breath of fire. *goes into corner with ps1 copy of BoF III and cries*

He didnt tank the company he has complained for years that the higher ups keep interfering and just want him to make the same games over and over again and wont let him make anything new. And for RE games sorry but crappy tank controls arent fun in games.

Dead rising and lost planet failed because they were fun ok games but when there not exclusive anymore there appeal goes down.Thats why they failed eventhough they were sold on two platforms. They pissed off the fanboys and sometimes you can get away with that and sometimes you cant. Look at blizzard if the fans scream hard enough they will change their game. Sometimes you cant go for the money you may loose your whole base.

Meh, if they'd been REALLY good instead of , at best with the first DR and LP, decent and disappointing they'd still have sold well enough. Capcom, outside of fighters like SF and Marvel Vs Capcom etc have been pretty poor this generation in story based games. Outside of that, I guess, MH3 was a good home console game but that's about it as far as games approaching the quality we'd expect from them last gen or earlier.

The disappointments, though, go on and on-DMC4, RE5,LP2, BC, CTYD, All the Wiimakes without motion controls plus the two rail shooters when we were promised a proper Resi if we bought Umbrella Chronicles(which we did), DV the list goes on and on and when they do have a good game and a new IP, at that, in Zack and Wiki they don't promote the damn thing. But whatever Inafune felt or did it's not a shock to me that he was unhappy with the output because I would be too. It just hasn't lived up to previous generations by some distance imho.

Not the first to put forth this idea. And Inafunes actions seems pretty strange in retrospect. And he has been very vocal about the upper management in Capcom and his struggles with them.

What is important is that Capcom sees that they are on the wrong path and straighten their sh1t out. They have lost respect and made some below average games, and Inafune was part of it. Hopefully someone better gets his job now...

The guy made Lost Planet which is a franchise that was D.O.A. , lucky enough to get a sequel, that's about it. Don't see the problem, Dead Rising is a brilliant franchise.
