And since the game is being developed by Square Enix, there are a few bonus characters from the Final Fantasy universe added to the roster. Confirmed playable characters include the ninja, black mage, and white mage classes, as well as Cactuar and even a Moogle. Of course, you can always just play as a cartoonish version of yourself by importing your Mii data."

The ‘Mario Sports’ trademark has been registered by Nintendo for Europe and Australia. The two listings for the Mario Sports trademarks in Europe and Austraila were both registered on May 20, 2020. They will expire 10 years after their registered dates, so in May of 2030. Both of the registered trademarks refer to “Mario Sports”.
