"Having played both the PS3 and PC betas for DC Universe Online, I have to applaud Sony Online Entertainment and their groundbreaking attempt to bring the Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) to this generation on console. I dare say…I’m actually excited for Sony? I think they may have the start of something big here. Fingers crossed"- Shanghai Six

WTMG's Thomas Medina: "As far as I’m concerned, console MMOs have always been in a weird place. PC is where the main game is most popular. MMOs were born there, work best there, and have the vast majority of titles. Mobile is then next in line, with touchscreens and portability that adds something new while functioning well. Console gaming, on the other hand, is not portable (for the most part). Plus, it uses a controller, which is not the best instrument when your control scheme requires a thousand buttons and a cursor. That being said, there is an audience, and where there’s money to be made, publishers find a way. So here we are with some of the biggest console MMO games and how I feel they handled 2021. "
From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
Off to a nice start. Thanks Firetruck!
Freezing issues aside I really am enjoying the beta. If it were not for the crazy ammount of great games coming out next year I would be getting this when it releases. I just don't have enough time.
Currently there is nothing like this on consoles.
Very much enjoying the beta... but i dont know if i have the cash/time for all the coming games and a subscription game.
I'll be getting it for the PS3. I haven't played it in over a month, but got to level 30 with a few characters in beta already. I'm fine with voice communication in the game when I do group and the controls are perfect for gamepad use. Though, I find it a bit funny that to play with a controller on the PC you have to use a 360 controller since DS3 controllers don't work on the PC.
Need to check and see if they've updated the info, but wonder if this game will be a part of the Station Pass subscription plan as well.
One of the best moments I've had in the game was my first week as a villain exploring Gotham and accidentally running into Batman on a building top.
I've heard rumors that this has a monthly fee, does anyone know if its true or not?? If true, how much does it cost?? On PS3 thanks
