"A little over four years ago, Bomberman: Act Zero was released. The game attempted to re-visualize Bomberman as an arena of bombermen fighting for freedom. The game flopped and received poor critical response. A little over three years ago, Bomberman Live was launched onto Xbox Live and offered classic Bomberman gameplay and visuals for the competition of up to 8 players online. The simplicity proved to be the game’s strength and the most enjoyable aspect of the game was competition with friends. Now today in 2010, we are reintroduced to Bomberman with Bomberman Live: Battlefest".
