411mania: "Is it just me or has the flight simulator fallen off the face of the Earth recently? It seems that there were all sorts of flight simulators 5 years ago and that there were several games that took advantage of flight sticks on the PS2. Now days I don’t even know if there’s a PS3 flight stick or what it would even be used for since Ace Combat 6 only came out on Xbox 360. Besides Blazing Angels and HAWX I don’t think I can name any other flight games for PS3. It’s pretty rare to see a flight simulator hit the market now days, especially one that’s not exclusive to the PC. In an attempt to make the game more appealing Apache: Air Assault is not only a flight simulator but also an action game. How does it fare?"
