Illusia is a pretty action RPG that casts players as a Fighter or Magician (it’s up to them) as they explore the world of Astaran, which is under attack from a powerful force. Hardcore gamers will appreciate the grind it out play style and wealth of items to use. For everyone else, it’s a bit too repetitive to earn must buy status.

By nature, mobile gaming takes place in small bursts – while you’re waiting in line at the store, or on the bus, and RPGs generally lend themselves to longer play sessions. Illusia attempts to bring the genre onto the Android platform with action-oriented gameplay. Is the result worth the investment in time?
