Sonic the Hedgehog is a videogame legend. However, many believe SEGA's star is rapidly falling after continuous poor games that do nothing but undermine this gaming great. In recent Sonic adventures SEGA has often failed to recreate just what made the original Sonic the Hedgehog games so good, with releases that were often dismissed as poor and technically flawed. Sonic Colours is a title that tries to recreate everything good about the classic Sonic games, but has SEGA succeeded!
Water games have a bad reputation in the gaming community but there are a few out there that are truly a joy to play through.

Actually I am in my 20's and have gone back and played many of the Sonic games made, personally I find a lot of the older games to be absolutely awful with a particular nod to the original Sonic the Hedgehog. I know a good game when I play it and the games on my list and ones that are truly great and the pinnacle of the Sonic experience.
Well. I guess an opinion is an opinion.
But just because you can't make it through a game doesn't make it bad.

1. Sonic Adventure
2. Sonic 2
3. Sonic and Knuckles
4. Sonic 3
5. Sonic the Hedgehog 1991
That's pretty much my list, only I'd put S&K and Sonic 3 at 1 and 2. And maybe drop Adventure for Sonic Chaos for GameGear/Master System, I had so much fun with that game.

Sonic team absolubtely blow these days.
Nights is great.. and I loved the sequel on Wii .. Nights: journey into dreams.. it's sooo beautiful and fun! try it..
