Gaming Age: "The trailer for Crescent Pale Mist had me sold. I was there; hook, line, and sinker. The first level of the game had me believing that it could be another Muramasa or Odin Sphere, a more arcade fast-paced 2D brawler than the both of them combined, with some legendary set pieces and over-the-top speed runs through each level by virtue of memorization and replayability. But then, I got to spend a little more time with the game."
