PlayDevil: Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 Review

PlayDevil has posted a review of the new "Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2" game published by Namco Bandai.

Is this sequel much better than the original?

"Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 is surprisingly similar to the recently released Naruto game actually. The fighting is done in 3D arenas, with free movement. The basic combat is very simple, with most combos just being fairly simple button mashes that require no delicate controller movements. The main difference is that combat is possible in all three dimensions. You use the two left trigger buttons to raise and lower yourself from the ground. In theory, this is pretty cool, but almost all moves just automatically zoom in on the other player, so it’s not actually ever a huge amount of use. Perhaps skilled players can take advantage of it, but I found it more of a pain than a benefit."
