PlayStation 2. With the possible exception of Nintendo’s Gameboy, you’d be hard pressed to find another gaming platform that has remained a firm staple on the public consciousness than Sony’s seminal successor to its original, multi-million dollar selling grey box of tricks. Having shifted over a brain-numbing 145 million units since its inception in 2000, PS2 has cemented itself as the most successful selling home console of all time, capturing a vast, diverse audience spanning all ages long before the notion of wand-waggling Wii-motes even put dollar signs in the eyes of corporate bigwigs back at Nintendo HQ.
If you're looking for 'must have' PSVR 2 games then look no further. These are the 10 titles every PSVR 2 owner should have in their library.
If you're wanting more PSVR 2 support, you should probably buy all of these games.
Speak with your wallet!
I'm trying to decide if it's worth holding onto my psvr 2. I enjoy what it has currently, but it seems unlikely to get anything else. Might be better off just waiting for something with more support if that ever comes.
GT7 surprised me, because I hate racing games, but i poured 100 hours into it way too quickly.
I’m looking forward to the Metro VR game this year, and I hope that WW2 dogfighter game releases eventually.
I have most of them 😅
Waiting for a sale on Synapse and Arizona Sunshine 2.....also Metro coming this year looks great.
Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that the multiplatform title Resident Evil 4 has sold over 7 million units worldwide approximately one year after its release.
Zachary M. Cain said: Shadow of the Colossus is hailed as one of the best action-adventure titles of its time. The game was originally released for the PlayStation 2 all the way back in 2005. It was so good in fact, it got a remastered version in 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and was well received by old and new fans alike. Let’s revisit this iconic classic in 2024 and see how well it holds up to its past reputation.
Im guessing:
GTA
GT
MGS
FF
SOTC
What else?
Every exclusive game that ever came out on the system, and every game that came out on the PS2, Xbox & GC defined that generation as a whole.
This gen sucks! All the shit gets released and all the good stuff gets cancelled or put on hold forever.
"Every exclusive game that ever came out on the system, and every game that came out on the PS2, Xbox & GC defined that generation as a whole."
Well duh. Way to state the obvious. That IS the generation.
I think this gen has been great so far, plenty of awesome games that will be considered masterpieces forever have been released. Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Fallout 3, Halo3 and Reach, Uncharted 1 & 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (love it or hate it you can't deny it's impact), not to mention the incredible rise of motion gaming.
Of course PS2 was also great, and the games got better as the years rolled on. I think the same will happen this gen - the best games are yet to come.
