Personally I'd rather Capcom focus on making the game as sick as possible and not waste precious time making a demo that would make the game come out either 1) not as solid or 2) later. I'm fine with no demo before launch.

Well that sucks but if it comes out around the time of Mk9 i'll be putting it off anyways since that will be my fighting game for a bit so hopefully by time i get bored with it there will be a demo or someone i know will have it.

Thinking back i dont remember a demo for sf4 nor ssf4 , blazblue CT abd CS , Tekken 6 , soul calibur 4 ... only the re-release of psn/xbla capcom fighters , with their status as psn/xbl games as the reason for a demo .

There arent many demos for fighting games in general and especially lately . And when they comes it's usually after the game is released for some odd reason , like with kox12 .

But truth be told they dont even need it , and it's even a double edged sword . Should any publishers choose the wrong 2-4 characters to demo , they risk scaring away people over balances , and yet they can' just throw unknown characters for a demo , but at least one popular icon from the game .

I don't own a single arcade stick but after playing SF4 with a controller, I figure I better get one.

If/when a Marvel vs Capcom 3 fight stick comes out, I'll be getting it to play the game proper, like how I played Street Fighter 2 in arcades in the old days.

Anybody could recommend me a good (and affordable) fighting stick to play all the fighting games I plan on getting (SSFIV, Tekken 6, KOF XIII..)?
What about the stick that comes with the Tekken 6 CE? Is it worth it? Is it compatible with other fighting games? Like SSFII Turbo HD remix, PS2 fighting games...??

What platform do you plan to play on?
You might want to start out with the cheap Madcatz stick (the SE one)and then if you like it mod it with some quality buttons and stick (sanwa is recommended).

The Tekken 6 stick is decent, but in the eyes of pros its not good at all. The cheap plastic could give out any moment and it is not reliable in 100% precision. It could be modded, but the wireless may be unreliable as it could lag AND/OR run out of battery while playing. Though I wouldn't think there would be much of a problem if you check the batteries or watch out for electrical interference. It comes with the game, so you could go for it and practice with it.

Though I started out with a HRAP 3 SA and I loved it since the day I got it. Precision is the up most importance for fighting, so feel whats right. You also don't have to play with a stick, its not a rule, but its easier.

Wait, do you want to play PS2 fighting games on your PS3? Anything released after the HRAP 3 SA will do that and Madcatz started to do the same after they released some type of stick (I think anything after the TvC stick)
However all of these are expensive :(

I'm sorry I'm not a pro, but I have played fighting games with a stick for a while and have done much research on modding sticks :)

If you plan to buy a stick go with Hori or Madcatz (However they have no cheap sticks besides the SE)

i know some people can really play well and enjoy those wireless bundled T6 or blazblue (or sc4) sticks .... however the wireless is pretty much the only good parts . It is surprising good lag wise .

But the rest of the pieces of the stick are usually subpar junk . The biggest problem with those themed stick is that they are a pain to modify later on , once you wanna put some pro level parts .

If you can't afford a Hrap 3 , Hrap 3 SA/SE , V3 , or a madcatz TE ... at the very just get a Madcatz SE . Not only are the decent for a while , but you can easily mod and transform those into a bonafide TE level stick .
