Lair and Folding@Home on PSP
There are also, clearly, issues with controls too – as highlighted in Lair. Although it’s possible to play the full game on the PSP using the nub, albeit with a rather jerky framerate, you can’t perform any moves that require the R2 or L2 buttons. This means it’s impossible to brake and, as such, you can’t get past the tutorial stage, introducing dragon-riding controls and – yes – braking. So, if you fancy giving Lair a try, make sure you finish the tutorial on your PS3 first.
Here’s the proof, just in case you don’t believe us.
Folding@Home on the other hand seems to work perfectly. Of course, you don’t actually play Folding@Home but you can watch genes whizzing around and some numbers flashing up. It’s still cool to give it a go on PSP though.
Sadly, they’re the only two titles that seem to work at the moment. We had a brief look through our PS3 library this morning and can confirm that Folklore, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword and PSN title Snakeball aren’t compatible with Remote Play.
