STP - Retro-style gaming is all the rage right now, with titles like Sonic The Hedgehog 4 and Super Meat Boy burning up the charts. Like those, Ash, a new RPG that hit the App Store last week, will transport you back to a simpler time. It was the age of the Super Nintendo and Genesis, a time when popular RPGs sent anime sprites on fantastic adventures to save the world from the brink of destruction.
Denis Listov Says:"I started dreaming about the game in 2013. I didn’t think I could make it but I kept dreaming and making notes. In February 2016 I decided to start developing the game. I had no friends to create a team with. I took a loan, sold my car, took all my bank savings and started creating a team. Many people came and went, and only those who want to see the game’s release stayed"
Not many games that get ported to the 3DS from iOS are usually worth a second glance. Every once and a while a real gem gets ported over though. Ash is one of those gems.
Gaming Gauge has learnt that SRRN Game’s criticially acclaimed RPG Ash is coming to the 3DS eShop courtesy of Circle Entertainment. The game is currently intended for a Q3/Q4 release and will boast new, upgraded artwork; 3DS features are still under consideration.
