Hetalia Postcard Book Listed by Amazon.ca
ANN writes: "Amazon.ca, the Canadian arm of retailer Amazon.com, currently lists a Hetalia Postcard Book. The listing shows "Tokyopop" as the author and "TY – Adult Book" as the publisher, as well as an April 12, 2011 release date and price of C$16.99 (about US$16.89).
Amazon.com lists a May 31, 2011 release date for the third volume of the Hetalia – Axis Powers manga. The retailer also listed Chibisan Date, a recent manga by Hetalia author Hidekaz Himaruya. Tokyopop is currently releasing the second volume of Hetalia digitally on a weekly basis prior to releasing it in print.
The Hetalia manga originally launched in Japan as an online web comic, and it features personifications of various countries around the world as they existed during World War II and other periods. The series has been released in collected form in three volumes to date and is currently ongoing. Four television anime seasons and an animated film have also been made."
