CheatCC says, "Were THQ to publish this as a downloadable title for $15 or less, I'd still issue a warning against making the purchase. As a $40 retail product, MTU is absolutely a no-go for me. The visuals are laughably low-rent, and the presentation is unnecessary and drab. Instead of wasting time on this uninspired mess, treat yourself to the big bucket of popcorn when going out to see Megamind on the "big screen." Or better yet, save up those nuts and berries for the inevitable DVD release."
Following the recent rush of announcements and revelations regarding the forthcoming WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 and the announcement of a release date for the Dreamworks MegaMind videogames, THQ has revealed an updated Q3 release schedule. Also included are the recently dated UFC Undisputed 2010 for PlayStation Portable (PSP) and the PC conversion of the critically acclaimed Darksiders.
Following the recent revelation of the official names for each the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable (PSP), and Wii versions of the forthcoming videogames based upon Dreamworks’ MegaMind motion-picture, publisher THQ has revealed the release date for all three games. As had previously been expected, Dreamworks MegaMind: Mega Team Unite for Wii, Dreamworks MegaMind: Ultimate Showdown for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and Dreamworks MegaMind: The Blue for Nintendo DS and PSP will hit retail in time for the busy Christmas sales period this year.
Since the announcement that THQ had acquired the rights to produce videogame adaptations of Dreamworks’ forthcoming feature-length motion-picture, MegaMind, back in June, little further information has been revealed about the line-up of games. Today however, Electronic Theatre has received word of the official titles for each differing videogame adaptation of the film.
