IGN: It takes a special kind of bravery to get up in front of a group of friends and dance around like a crazy person. In Dance Central, the first Kinect-friendly party game from the talented folks at Harmonix, players will need a fair helping of that bravery. This is the first "real" dance game I've ever played, one that demands actual full-body dancing from the player (and not just the fancy footwork required in the DDR franchise). This means you need a gung-ho attitude to play, but it also means that you have one fantastic party game for people that love to dance. Although Dance Central isn't a perfect experience, the good times that come with it are well worth the investment.
With Xbox 360 and a Kinect peripheral now cheap as chips, I finally got down with my funky self with Dance Central.
Dance Central will feature a 32 song soundtrack, custom choreography designed for VR, practice mode, customizable avatars, and competitive and cooperative online multiplayer.

Hmm, i expected a good score. :D
I liked the game's previews..
Gonna go check this out if a bestbuy near me puts up as a demo.
Party + Dance game/Music Game = Win
Compared to Rock Band, it's not their best work, AND not worth the price of admission. Not surprised : o
only launch kinect game that actually looked interesting but certainly not enough to spend $200 on. (for those not sure what I mean, its kinect + the game)
No career, nothing to unlock, you can barely customize dancers, limited multi-player (for a PARTY game!!), and this game got a 8...
Right...
It's the only kinect game i'm looking for, but i'm a little disappointed about the lack of these features... Guess i'll wait for someone to pick it for me to test it.
